I used gunk engine cleaner they have a new one says cream engine cleaner information technology cleaned it spotless I was going to take tub out its a rental simply drove me nuts did not hurt shine (similar soft scrub) the tub looked like the twenty-four hours I put in I tried everything else

I had a tub similar this in a firm I rented to iv guys tub has been gross for over 10 years I said im going to clean or replace information technology tried all kind of cleaners nada than found gunk foam engine cleaner its new I said I will attempt it I sprayed it with it no fumes very very niggling smell permit sit down few min used a bath castor it came right off I cant believe it no scratch no boring finish tub came out similar brand new the shine was in that location and yes this is a textured fiber glass tub. i used to work for an apartment complex, and the maintenance workers would use boric acrid to clean the tubs. If you decide to utilize this product make sure you rince the tub before use.

I have had this problem at several of my jobs (I clean private residences) the only matter I found that actually works is kaboom
(The imperial container) win the tub is dry out spray, let it sit down for ii or 3 minutes, don't allow it dry and so take a plastic bristle broom and scrub, you volition be amazed how make clean that will get the tub.

Nosotros had the tub that was originally put into the firm 50 years ago and I could Not go it make clean no matter what I tried. Finally I resorted to pouring a jug of bleach in and filling it with hot water and letting it soak for awhile. That helped simply what finally did the most good was oven cleaner. I have a textured floor in my tub as well, and the first matter I thought of, is an eraser pad! The textured tub floors, tear these to shreds. It does NOT work. Sure information technology works great on whatever smooth surface that has grime, but not on a textured tub floor!

Ok, then I toyed with this but the fumes are terrible and will cause eye and breathing ( throat) discomforting effects.just yeah, it does become it clean with some scrubbing later 5 min.

I tried this this night and boom, beautiful white tub! First spray oven cleaner, let gear up 15 minutes and then wet tub. I used the shower head for just a infinitesimal to moisten. Then use Mr Clean sponge to scrub and, nail, information technology'due south clean!

I'g so excited, I used everything under the sunday and it finally worked. I thought I would have to supercede my tub to sell my firm. Looks brand new.

I could literally kiss you lot for this comment! I have been struggling with a bathtub that would look make clean no thing what I used on it for the last 5 years. For someone with OCD and who is also a germaphobe, This has been a complete nightmare for me. UNTIL your comment! My bathtubs are make clean once more thanks to you!!!! Is the Easy Off oven cleaner in the blue can not harmful to the tub/shower'south hardware, such every bit the faucets, shower head, or chrome ring around the drain? The reason that I'm asking this is considering I discolored my kitchen faucets while I was cleaning my oven racks in my sink.
