Shazam 2 music director reveals first look at the DC subsequence
The first ex officio smel at Shazam 2 has arrived.
Manager David F. Ordered pictures showing Levi in wide-cut costume too leaked online, courtesy of Just Jared. They give a much better look at the suit, which, though similar to its predecessor seen in Shazam, still has some changes. IT's more textured, and the chassis of the lightning slap has changed. Shazam 2 isn't expected to arrive until 2023, but it's formation up to have a huge cast. Helen Mirren will play Hespera, with Lucy Liu playing her sister Kalypso – some are villains. Neither character seems to have a basis in DC Comics, just they're daughters of the Titan Atlas from Greek mythology. Interestingly, Map collection is single of the sources of Billy Batson's powers – Shazam is an acronym which spells out every the mythological figures He derives his abilities from: Solomon's wisdom,Hercules' strength,Atlas' staying power,Zeus' power,Achilles' braveness, andMercury's speed.
Not much is known active the plot of Shazam 2, though the official title is Shazam! Fury of the Gods – which gives a bit of a hint at what He-goat might live going up against in the sequel. Along with Saint Matthew, Asher Angel wish be returning as the younger reading of Billy, piece Jack Bob Dylan Grazer will return A his buddy Freddy Freewoman. West Side Story asterisk Rachel Zegler has been cast in an unknown part.
It's also non vivid yet if Shazam 2 will crossover with the upcoming Black Adam, starring Dwayne "The Rock-and-roll" Johnson, Pierce Brosnan, and Aldis Hodge. In the pages of DC Comics, Covert Adam is a lawful foe of Billy's. So Former Armed Forces, we've had a few glimpses at the moving-picture show – including another inexplicable costume tease.
